Regarding the Namibian Parliament’s Recommendation on Exploration Activities

In May 2025, Headspring Investments proudly joined Namibians in commemorating National Tree Planting Day, a meaningful celebration dedicated to honouring the legacy of His Excellency Dr. Sam Nujoma, Namibia’s Founding President. Over the course of two impactful days, we partnered with community leaders, educators, learners, and environmental advocates across the Omaheke Region to not only plant trees but also plant seeds of sustainability, education, and unity.

From May 20 to 22, 2025, the international exhibition and conference Enlit Africa-2025, dedicated to discussing innovations, sustainable development, and the transformation of energy systems across the continent, took place in Cape Town, South Africa. Representatives of Headspring Investments, as part of the delegation from the Rosatom State Corporation, participated in the event, presenting an innovative regional solution: In-Situ Recovery (ISR) technology for uranium extraction.

Rosatom’s mining division, Dalur JSC, has achieved a significant milestone with the successful launch of uranium production at the Dobrovolnoye deposit in Russia’s Kurgan Region. Utilizing the environmentally responsible In-Situ Recovery (ISR) method, the company has delivered its first batch of uranium product to support Russia’s nuclear energy sector. This achievement underscores Dalur’s leadership in sustainable mining and aligns with global trends toward cleaner energy solutions.

Dalur, JSC (Joint Stock Company) stands as a beacon of innovation and environmental stewardship in the uranium mining industry. As Russia’s first enterprise to utilize the In-Situ Recovery (ISR) method, Dalur has set a global standard for environmentally responsible uranium extraction. A subsidiary of Rosatom Minerals, JSC, which is part of the larger Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, Dalur ensures a reliable supply of natural uranium for Russia’s nuclear energy sector, while setting a global benchmark for ethical and eco-conscious mining.

Headspring Investments, Namibia Institute of Mining Technology (NIMT) and K Neumayer Civil Contractors took hands to train 20 artisans and provide job attachments for the trainees.

As the world transitions towards cleaner energy sources, nuclear power is experiencing a resurgence. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) estimates that nuclear generating capacity could more than double by 2050, driven by the increasing need for reliable and low-carbon energy sources[1]. With this growth comes the necessity for sustainable and cost-effective uranium extraction methods.

Headspring Investments has heeded the call from the Governor of the Omaheke Region, Honourable Pijoo Nganate, to take hands with the government to alleviate hunger in the Omaheke Region. Honourable Pijoo Nganate, Governor of the Omaheke Region, stated: “We are the least populated region in the whole country and it is unacceptable that, with the abundant resources to our disposal, we still fail to feed our people in the Region”.

On January 1, 2025, the Omaheke Region came alive with excitement as the Kopano Turf Club hosted the 16th edition of its prestigious horse racing event.
